
Thomas Rudd
Thomas Rudd is a registered forester and licensed real estate broker. He grew up on a cattle farm in Caswell County and graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in Forest Management. With 14 years’ experience as a consulting forester and 11 years’ experience as a licensed NC real estate agent, he has a wealth of expertise in the areas of forest management, wildlife habitat improvement, timber production, and timber valuation. Thomas’ primary focus is fitting buyers with properties that suit their needs, and then helping them meet their long-term goals for their forestland. Thomas is passionate about preserving and caring for rural land. He volunteers with the North Carolina Tree Farm Program, is a certified Tree Farm Inspector, and delivered a speech at a national Forest Landowners Association convention on the importance of using a forest management plan to improve forest health and growth. When he’s not working, Thomas is still outside. He spends his time hiking in the mountains with his wife and two daughters, coaching his daughter's soccer team, trail running, biking, and surfing.
